परगना : पश्चिम बंगाल के उत्तर 24 परगना जिले में एक बड़ी वारदात सामने आई है। यहां छापेमारी के दौरान ईडी की टीम पर हमला होने की जानकारी मिली है। सूत्रों के अनुसार प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) की टीम पर उस समय हमला हुआ, जब वह टीम के सदस्य करोड़ों रुपये के राशन घोटाले के सिलसिले में तृणमूल कांग्रेस के एक नेता के घर पर छापा मारने गए थे।
इस दौरान पश्चिम बंगाल के संदेशखाली में स्थानीय लोगों ने प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) के अधिकारियों और उनके साथ आए सीआरपीएफ के जवानों को खदेड़ दिया। गुस्साई भीड़ ने वाहन को चारों तरफ से घेर लिया था, जिसके बाद हमला किया। भीड़ के गुस्से को देखते हुए ईडी की टीम को मौके से पीछे हटने के लिए मजबूर होना पड़ा। वहीं, ईडी की टीम पर हुए हमले में एक युवक को चोट भी पहुंची है।
अधिकारियों ने कहा कि उत्तर 24 परगना में कम से कम दो ब्लॉक स्तर के टीएमसी नेताओं (शाहजहां शेख और शंकर अध्या) और उनके रिश्तेदारों के घर और कार्यालयों पर सुबह से छापे चल रहे हैं। उनके साथ केंद्रीय बल के जवान भी थे।
